Free Private Beta for Southwest Airlines Pilots

Weather for every layover on your trip,
plus what’s going on when you land.

I built CrewWX because I wanted to know the weather for my overnights without typing cities into an app and trying to remember which day I was in which place. Connect your calendar once. After that it emails you each morning, starting three days before the trip, with the forecast for each layover city plus what’s going on near the hotel while you’re there.

Free. Your calendar stays private, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Automatic

It reads your schedule

CrewHub pushes your trips to your calendar, and CrewWX picks them up from there. No manual trip entry after setup.

Keeps Up

Trip changes follow you

Open CrewHub and it syncs the change to your calendar. CrewWX checks every ten minutes, catches it, and sends an updated email. If you get a new layover city, another one follows once your hotel is assigned. Nothing to refresh, nothing to re-enter.

Events

What’s happening while you’re there

Concerts, sports, festivals, and local events happening in each layover city during your ground time. It’s in the email, so you don’t go looking for it.

Crew-Sourced

Spots from crew who’ve been there

Restaurants, bars, outdoor spots, and sights, added by Southwest crew who’ve actually stayed there. Add yours in two taps from any email. The best recommendations come from other crew, so this list is only as good as what we put into it.

From real layovers

Boston, on a layover. The morning email flagged Sail Boston: free tall ship tours in the Seaport. Photos thanks to Tom R., HOU Captain.

Buffalo, on a layover. The morning email flagged this farmers market near our hotel.

What it looks like

Try it on your next trip.

Signup takes a minute. Connecting your calendar takes a few more, once. After that you don’t need to touch it again.

It’s a private beta and I’m still building. If something doesn’t work, tell me and I’ll fix it.

Have CrewHub on this phone or iPad? Setup takes about three minutes. Not right now? Email yourself a link.
